KGP’s new series of free briefings continues with the 2nd Briefing, an overview of NRMM market trends in 2017 and an outlook into 2018. It provides insights into global markets and the three main segments – Construction Equipment (CE), Agricultural Machinery (AG) and Materials Handling (MH). The global outlook looks positive after several years of weakness with China’s Construction Machinery market leading the way on the back of the governments investment strategy.
The service on which the briefing is based, KGP’s Non-Road Engine and Aftertreatment Forecast, is a partnership with industry consultancy, Off-Highway Research. The briefings combine leading insights into global markets based on KGP and Off-Highway’s in-depth knowledge and expertise.
The forthcoming 3rd briefing will examine opportunities in electrification and hybridisation of the Commercial Vehicle segment. KGP will be presenting on the subject at LMC Automotive’s annual CV seminar in Oxford. Places at the 15th November event are still available, sign up here – LMC Automotive CV Seminar.
The 4th briefing will continue the theme of electrification and hybridisation but shift the focus back to the Non-Road Mobile Machinery segment. Concerns over air quality, as well as future Green House Gas emission targets and legislation, are focussing OEM’s minds on the future of alternative fuels in the segment.
