Alex Woodrow, KGP’s Managing Director will be speaking on Truck and Bus Technology at LMC Automotive’s annual truck seminar in London on Tuesday 18th November 2014. Knibb, Gormezano and Partners has collaborated with LMC on a joint Global Commercial Vehicle Engine Forecast since 2005. Alex’s presentation will focus on the shift from emissions legislation to fuel economy and greenhouse gas emissions as the main driver for development between now and 2020.
Following the London event all attention with shift to Bauma China which starts on 24th November. The Shanghai event, held every two years, is Asia’s foremost event for the construction equipment industry. 2014’s last major event promises to be bigger than ever, despite a slowdown and contraction of the Chinese market since 2010. Looking to the future however there are considerably opportunities in the market as the key players look to balance tighter legislative and increasing intensive competition. KGP’s research will focus on the challenge local manufacturers face to innovate and develop machines offering improved productivity and lower lifecycle costs competitively.
