This event was co-organised by the eSafety Forum’s Implementation Roadmaps Working Group of which Brian Knibb of KGP is a member.

The workshop dealt with the following questions:

  • Have we done enough to improve road safety?
  • Where do we stand on the deployment of integrated vehicle safety systems?
  • Are we being left behind by Japan and the US?
These issues were be addressed by speakers from Europe, Japan, US and elsewhere. The workshop aimed to give participants insight into:
  • The implementation situation in both Europe and around the world
  • Best practices in promoting deployment
  • What Europe can learn from experiences in the different areas
