The study examines the engine requirements of global heavy on-road manufacturers worldwide, including the rapid growth markets of Brazil, Russia, India and China. Detail included in the report includes engine details such as manufacturer, family, displacement, fuel injection, and other specifications, as well as a unique examination of the emissions certification and aftertreatment requirements of the manufacturer by market.
The first edition of the report was published in early 2007 following a 12 month research programme.
