eSafety Workshop, Brussels Nov 14 2007

This event is being co-organised by the eSafety Forum’s Implementation Roadmaps Working Group of which Brian Knibb of KGP is a member.

The workshop will deal with the following questions:
  • Have we done enough to improve road safety?
  • Where do we stand on the deployment of integrated vehicle safety systems?
  • Are we being left behind by Japan and the US?

These issues will be addressed by speakers from Europe, Japan, US and elsewhere. The workshop aims to give participants insight into:

  • The implementation situation in both Europe and around the world
  • Best practices in promoting deployment
  • What Europe can learn from experiences in the different areas

eSafety Deployment Award

The workshop programme will also feature the presentation of the first ever eSafety Deployment Award. This honour will be bestowed upon a person who has shown outstanding achievements with regards to the acceleration of the deployment of eSafety systems.

The Workshop’s tentative agenda is included below
