Kurt Soezen delivers major vehicles safety study / report
Monday, December 28, 2009

The most comprehensive report yet on in-vehicle active safety systems and their adoption prospects was published by KGP in collaboration with SupplierBusiness in the late summer of 2009.

The two-volume report, the culmination of six months’ research  deals not only with the basics of the system technologies and their advantages and disadvantages but also addresses the political and regulatory issues.

The principal author of the research and the ensuing report was Kurt Soezen. Valuable support came from Alan Williams and Brian Knibb acted as reviewer and editor. Brian is a member of the European eSafety Forum’s Implementation Road Maps Working Group.

Supplier Business contributed detailed profiles of all the key suppliers of in-vehicle safety systems around the world.

The study follows on from two successful KGP multi-client studies dating back from 2003, covering Active Safety for Commercial Vehicles and Passenger Cars.
