Brian Knibb of KGP chaired an important debate on the apparent conflicts between the need for improved safety and the drive to reduce CO2.
UKIP Media and event organised a major conference on the subject of road vehicle safety in Brussels in February 2008. Safe Highways of the Future was a conference exploring technologies, and changes required, to enable zero deaths on Europe´s roads to become a reality.
Safe Highways of the Future focussed its attention on the processes relating to the next ten to twenty year term.
The conference looked at five key areas:
Safe Highways of the Future brought together expert speakers in all of these areas in a serious attempt to look at the opportunities which existed or which may come to exist and also to identify the obstacles which need to be overcome in the process.
