Global Heavy Engine Forecast Launched

KGP, with long term associate J.D. Power Automotive Forecasting has launched a new forecast on on-road heavy vehicle engines.  The study, which will be updated twice annually from September 2007, was published in March 2007.

The study, based on J. D Power Automotive Forecasting's Global Commercial Vehicle Forecast of commercial vehicle production  (more detail.), includes the following:

  • Engine supplier by vehicle weight category;
  • Engine model, displacement; specification;
  • Emissions aftertreatment specification;
  • Emissions compliance levels (i.e. Euro 4, EPA 10)

In addition the study includes an overview of trends in legislation, aftertreatment and rationalisation.  Additional research on the subject can be completed according to customer's individual requirements.
